Born out of my reflections on the current events in Nigeria, with a closer zoom on Lagos Mainland and the poor state of electricity in the community, this project is an attempt to document the social and economic realities of current day Lagos city. Set in Oworo, one of the most underserved communities in the state, my project intends to visualise the ways in which the people thrive in spite of this challenge. As a resident of Lagos, I have been equally affected by this issue so I am driven to work with this community to shed light on the big issue of epileptic power supply in Nigeria
