A swimming pool is all that remains of one of the houses on the eastern edge of Paradise, CA. The Camp Fire began in the hills in the east on November 8, 2018. It was the deadliest and most destructive fire in California history. During the fire, which burned for 17 days, 85 lives were lost and 18,804 buildings were destroyed.
