Stefano De Luigi will present an exhibition of his iPhone series “iDyssey.” iDyssey is an existential and mythological journey, as the title suggests. Following the long journey of Odysseus’ return to Ithaca De Luigi chose to record the movement of life, with an easy, lightweight tool of our daily lives, the iPhone. Because today marks the conservation as its transmission is in our pocket, with us every day, so that the memory does not have time to dissipate. The very nature of this photographic series, pictorial and multimedia both, confirms the need on the part of the author, a search for a new equilibrium. Find the traces of a classical hero, through ancient lands, equipped with a telephone, a new approach to the photographic medium as a return to the roots of the Mediterranean.
Admission to the exhibition is free. Officine Fotografiche is open for visiting Monday – Friday 10:30am – 1:30pm / 3:00pm – 7:30pm.
