After college, Danny Wilcox Frazier moved to Kenya to become an international photojournalist but quickly tired of the packs of foreign correspondents. He moved back home to Iowa to tell stories that were being ignored in the American Midwest and West. At this free lecture, Danny will discuss this transition.

The VII Association has partnered with the San Juan Independent to bring to bring some of the world’s preeminent photographers from VII to Telluride. Visiting journalists will contribute a local story to the San Juan Independent, present their work at a Leaders in Journalism Lecture and be the guest of honor at a family-style dinner.
