Through Barefoot Workshops, Ron Haviv will lead a week-long photography workshop in the Mississippi River Delta, February 5 – 12, 2017. In line with Barefoot Workshops’ hands-on philosophy, Haviv will lead students through the experience of telling someone else’s story, and how that experience changes you, your subject, and the community.
Over the course of the week-long workshop, students will attend lectures by Haviv, discuss various strategies for producing a project, and then embark on their own storytelling in the field. To conclude the workshop, Haviv will work with each photographer to edit work from the week and produce a final group show.
