Ed Kashi’s series Saigon on Wheels from 1994 in Ho Chi Minh city, formerly Saigon, Vietnam, will be exhibited at Anastasia Gallery.
The work explores what had become a ritual for young people in the city: cruising the streets of downtown Saigon at night. Saigon’s motorbike craze was one of the heralds of Vietnam’s cultural and economic rejuvenation.
