Uncle Sabir, who is a farmer in Shira Village, goes to his farms on daily basis. He earns from agriculture. He also collects the fused and unfused bombs. He sells them for a living. He lost a lot during wars. Even though selling bombs is dangerous to his life. He is doing it to plant on his farm. December 3, 2021. Photo by Shamal Kotayi

Foundry: Bringing top-tier, free photojournalism education to the world

Now in its fifteenth year, the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop offers majority world students and those from underrepresented communities in G20 countries who could not otherwise afford it a chance to learn from some of the world’s most well-respected photojournalists and photography professionals.

In 2023, Foundry again brings participants worldwide together to learn visual journalism in an online celebration of our industry with classes taught in ten languages.
