Quest for Identity is a collection of photographs of personal belongings exhumed from mass graves in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The photographs show belongings that victims carried with themselves on their way to execution.

During this meeting of the VII Book Club–a free event–you’ll have the opportunity to discuss and analyze author Ziyah Gafic’s book, Quest for Identity. Ziyah will read and present his book in a live session that will be followed by a Q&A and open discussion. He’ll describe the process of making the book, from conceiving the idea and shooting the images, to editing and publishing it. The VII Book Club begins with books authored by VII photographers and will expand to include authors from outside the VII Agency.

More on Ziyah Gafic here.

This live event is April 6 at 16:00 CET/10:00 EDT. Click here to join the meeting on ZOOM.

This event will also be broadcast live on VII Photo Agency’s Facebook page.
