The second in a series of John Stanmeyer’s Storytelling and Social Media Workshops will bring 12 photographers to the historic and beautiful city of Tbilisi in the Republic of Georgia from June 22 – 30, 2016. Located in the heart of the Caucasus. Tbilisi is often called the Paris of the region with its gilded architecture, rich history warm and welcoming people, the perfect setting for deeply enrich storytelling.
Available to only an intimate group of 12 photographers, John will be teaching how to prepare, research, photograph and edit a passionate visual essay, no different than what he does for magazines like National Geographic. Participants will delve deep into the art of photography and seeing — these are intense photographic therapy sessions — producing a photo essay that is ready for publication, in magazines or online. Additionally, John will share insight on how to truly leverage the most important form of communication and publishing today; Social Media — do not underestimate this power and potential.
