Ali Arkady worked on the Farman 74 project for three years starting in August 2014. He also joined the VII Mentor program in 2014, the same year the war started in Iraq with ISIS. He himself acted as a mentor for Yezidi girls who survived being held as hostages by ISIS for two years. In this lecture, Ali will discuss how he covered a war as a long-term project, and offer practical advice on how you can protect yourself in a conflict situation.
