To celebrate the agency’s fifteen year anniversary, VII is offering a very special edition of our VII print sale: iconic prints.
For this print sale, every member of the agency has selected one of their most iconic images including work from Ron Haviv’s Blood and Honey: A Balkan War Journal; Antonin Kratochvil’s Broken Dream; and Ashley Gilbertson’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
Each 8×10 photograph is hand-signed by the photographer. They are printed on museum grade archival C-Type paper at New York City’s top photographic lab and are beautifully backed and sleeved in fully archival materials. Each print is embossed with the VII logo, and comes with a certificate of authenticity printed on museum quality acid-free paper.
These remarkable images will not be offered again by our photographers in a small print sale – there will not be another chance to own one of these important images at this price.
In addition, to celebrate this special anniversary, VII is offering a full box set of all eighteen images. Prints will be presented in a specially made fully archival box, with the VII logo on the front panel. The cost of a box set is $1500.
The sale begins on May 24, 2017 at 12:00 PM EDT and concludes on June 7, 2017 at 12:00 PM EDT.
The photographers of VII have relentlessly chronicled modern history and been present at most of the world’s conflicts since the early 1980s. Since the agency’s inception on September 10, 2001, VII has been deeply committed to communicating vital stories of those affected by social injustices and uprooted by war. With integrity at the core of its mission, VII has continuously been documenting the world that we live in.
All proceeds from this print sale will go towards advancing the agencies core mission: truth and justice.
The prints will be sent using United States Postal Service using certified mail and will take between three to four weeks from the end of the sale to arrive. Box sets, custom made to order, will be shipped using the same service and will arrive approximately four to five weeks after the sale concludes.
