ATLAS EUROPIA

Atlas Europia is a long-term photographic project by Stefano De Luigi that explores how history shapes Europe through its landscapes, monuments, and sites of memory. The project builds a visual atlas of places where key events, ideas, and transformations have left a trace that still influences the present.

This chapter focuses on the Western Balkans — Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and North Macedonia. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project is developed in collaboration with the French Institute and the Goethe-Institut, where key program activities take place, engaging with a context shaped by war, political transition, and shifting borders.
