“A Troubled Home” is a hardcover photography book that tells the story of Nagorno-Karabakh, its strength, tragedy, and beauty. The photography in this book is not only about conflict; it is about everyday life. Over the past five years, Anush has returned to Nagorno-Karabakh repeatedly, making photos through a four-day war in 2016, of life in the relatively peaceful years that followed, of the devastating war in the Fall 2020 and its aftermath. At present, there is still uncertainty and continuing worry for the people living here.
