For over ten years, Agathe Kalfas has been involved in conceiving and managing cultural projects, both in France and internationally. She began her career within the French cultural network abroad and became the Director of Parole de Photographes in 2014, an organization dedicated to promoting photojournalism and visual education. In 2019, she founded her consultancy, AK Whispers, to support photographers in developing and promoting their creative projects.
As an art director, journalist, photo editor, educator, and independent consultant, Agathe Kalfas engages in a diverse range of visual arts. She regularly collaborates with Fisheye magazine, Revue EPIC, the online media outlet Les Jours, the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, and the training organization Eyes in Progress.
