Daniela Paoliello has a Ph.D. in Arts from UERJ – Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and, in recent years, has been developing her research around the relationship between body and nature/landscape, using photography, video, and self-performance for the camera. She is the author of the photobooks Exílio and What Time is in Paradise? and her work is part of the collection of the Museu de Artedo Rio (MAR). She was awarded second place in the Foto Féminas Portfolio Review in 2022, as well as the 13th and 16th Funarte Marc Ferrez Photography Awards in 2013 and 2022. Daniela was also awarded as an outstanding artist at the “Salão de Artes Novíssimos 2018” by Galeria Ibeu (RJ). She also has publications on platforms such as Itaú Cultural, Instituto Moreira Salles, PhMuseum, L’Oeil de la Photographie, Photodoc/Iandé, Fotografas Latam, Mulheres Luzes, Lat Photo Magazine, OLD, Revista Garupa, Smart View Magazine.
