Eugene Safonov

Eugene Safonov is co-founder of Bird in Flight magazine, the most popular in Eastern Europe media about photography, for which he was editor-in-chief for seven years, and ran its photo school in Kyiv. Eugene is also a founder of the BiF Prize, an international award for innovative photography held annually. In 2018-2020 more than 1300 photographers from 60 countries took part in the open calls. Antoine d’Agata, Roger Ballen, Donald Weber, Emma Bowkett, and others were among the judges of the award.
