Heleen Peeters (1988, Belgium) is the editorial coordinator at VII Insider.
She studied photography at London College of Communication in the United Kingdom. Afterward, she obtained a master degree in media science at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Alongside her role at the VII Foundation, Heleen works as an independent documentary photographer. In 2020, she published her first photobook ‘Horse’ (The Eriskay Connection). It was awarded the Dutch Photobook Award and the Felifa Photobook Award.
Her work has been exhibited at numerous institutions such as Museum Aan de Stroom (Antwerp, BE), Museum M (Leuven, BE), Felix Meritis (Amsterdam, NL), Business Design Center (London, UK), OXO Tower (London, UK) and Borges Centro Cultural (Buenos Aires, AR).
Heleen is also a staff photo editor for NRC, a Dutch daily newspaper.
