An award-winning creative based in London, Steve Macleod has been at the forefront of creative imaging for over thirty years, collaborating with a vast network of clients and developing new and innovative creative practices.
He has a respected eye for detail and works to the highest level across multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with international creatives, museums, galleries, and commercial clients. Live Nation UK and Festival Republic have also commissioned him for over fifteen years as an Art Director and content creator for festival experiences.
With an exceptional knowledge of commissioning and sourcing creative content for editorial, corporate, and commercial briefs, as well as client pitches across print and online platforms, including publishing and exhibitions, Steve is also an established artist represented by Black Box Projects.
Steve is a contributing founder and advocate for Hospital Rooms mental health arts charity, lead consultant for the CET Secondary Schools arts programme, and former Trustee and Deputy Chair of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust. He currently holds a Royal Warrant to HM the King.
An educator and ambassador for photography, Steve is a respected industry professional with decades of experience, serving as a regular lecturer and speaker. He is a Visiting Professor at UOS East Anglia; former Trustee of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST); lifetime member of Frontline Club in London. He also runs a successful mentorship programme for emerging artists.
