Anush Babajanyan has been awarded the Canon Female Photojournalist Award. For the nineteenth year in a row, Canon and Visa pour l’Image bestowed the award to an outstanding female photographer in recognition of her contribution to photojournalism.
The €8,000 grant, which will be awarded on September 7 in Perpignan, will enable Anush to fund her project on large families in Nagorno-Karabakh. The work will be exhibited at the 2020 edition of Visa pour l’Image.
