Camera calibration allows consistency, predictability, and repeatability of colors in every photograph regardless of light conditions or camera brand. After this webinar, you will be able to create color profiles for the cameras you use, which will significantly improve your RAW workflow.
A color profile is a recipe for graphics software that allows them to interpret contrast and colors correctly by sampling saturation, tint shift, and brightness of individual colors and bringing them to universal, mathematically recorded patterns. After calibration, the colors in the pictures become exact, and files prepared this way make proper material for their subsequent post-production. It is the first and often overlooked step in the color management workflow.
