C40 Mayors Summit
Mexico City

The Lucie Foundation at C40 Mayors Summit exhibition will feature work by Ed Kashi among other photographers, and will be on view for six weeks beginning November 30, 2016. The exhibition will be displayed in the open galleries at Chapultepec Forest, one of the most emblematic sites of the city. In order to recover public spaces and promote the visual arts in Mexico City, Chapultepec Forest was remodeled & adapted to display new proposals of art. The outdoor exhibition will feature large-scale photographs which will be installed on free standing modules in the main entrance to the park and on the Chapultepec Fences along Reforma Avenue.

Building upon the original exhibition of photographs presented at COP21 in Paris (December 2015), this expanded exhibition continues to explore the ideas of our global climate in transition. The collective imagery aims to awe and inspire, to challenge and confront the viewer, and to provide more understanding and awareness about our environment and how it continues to evolve with our actions and choices.
