Esa Ylijaasko spent two years documenting the life of a Syrian refugee community in the Süleymaniye neighborhood of Istanbul, Turkey. The resulting story, “November is a Beginning,” will be on view at the Gazebook Sicily Photobook Festival in Punta Secca, Italy from September 9 – 11, 2016.
