This Maine Media Workshop led by Antonin Kratochvil will explore how to delve into the psychology of the portrait, stripping away the accessories and distractions we surround ourselves with in modern life, to unveil the raw unfiltered person within.
There will be daily assignments that help participants develop their ability to encourage and capture emotional content and create a memorable portrait series. As well, at the end of the workshop, Antonin will give a critique and help edit the work of students using the knowledge gained from his expansive photographic experience.
