Gary Knight’s “Parenthèse 2020” is on view from October 30, 2020 through January 24, 2021 at Centre d’Art Contemporain de St-Restitut.
Parenthèse 2020 comprises four bodies of work — war crimes in Kosovo, the invasion of Iraq, immigration into the USA, and 30 years of journeying in Asia — that span the career of photographer Gary Knight. The exhibition is a new curation that contains vintage and contemporary prints from the 1980s through 2017, many of which have never been seen before, and books and photographs by writers and other photographers that contextualize the work.
