Ghor, Afghanistan, November 07, 2021. Aref, 27 years old, teaches religious lessons to children in a religious school. These classes are held every day in the morning and evening. The roots of the Taliban were planted many years ago in a religious school. Kabul, Afghanistan, December 02, 2021. A man in Ibn Sina Addiction Treatment Camp is going through the first phase of a 45-day period addiction treatment course. This course has 3 stages of 15 days, the first stage is the most painful and difficult of all. He waits for days to open the door and enter the easier stage. VII Mentor Program 2023-24

Ebrahim Alipoor, a Kurdish freelance photographer and storyteller from Iran, has spent a decade capturing images to create visual narratives. He opted for photography as his primary artistic pursuit, recognizing its profound ability to engage souls in third-world nations, where influence is not easily achieved. In this challenging context, he has constantly sought avenues to connect with people despite formidable circumstances, governmental restrictions, and artistic awareness deficits.

His photographic work revolves around crises within his immediate surroundings, addressing issues like refugees, war, and ancient cultural and societal dilemmas, ranging from Middle Eastern faiths and traditions to Kurdish conflicts.
