A firm believer in the power of photography to drive positive change, Doest is a senior fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers and an ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund. He is a regular contributor to National Geographic magazine and his accolades include four World Press Photo Awards.
In 2023, he was named a National Geographic Explorer and received the prestigious ‘National Geographic Photographer’s Photographer Award,’ a pinnacle of recognition in his field.
