Munira Mutaher is a photo editor at Rest of World based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In addition to her work as a photo editor, Munira is a documentary photographer and researcher. She holds a social anthropology masters degree from Goldsmiths University of London where her research focused on visual archives and their relations to class and post-colonial nation-building, looking in particular at documentary images from Sri Lanka’s post-independence period.
