Each year, UNICEF Germany awards the “UNICEF Photo of the Year Award” to photos and photo series that best depict the personality and living conditions of children worldwide in an outstanding manner.
For his series, “I Once Had a Home,” taken in Ukraine and shot for 1843/The Economist, VII co-founder Ron Haviv has received second prize.
