When Espen met Cato on the streets of Oslo during the Covid lockdown of 2020, he lived in tents in parks and small forests around the city, dependent on heavy drugs and always on the move. Later that same year, Cato decided to start a new and better life, moving into a Christian rehab clinic, Evangeliesenteret, joining bible school, and fighting against his drug addiction.
On Christmas Eve, Espen Rasmussen’s photo story “Cato’s Christmas Miracle” was published in VG Helg magazine, and as a feature online at VG.
