Whether for assignments and commissions, or long-term personal projects, the skills of telling a compelling character-driven story come in useful. In this digital age, our story-telling toolbox has hugely expanded, and thus how we approach storytelling through photography has also changed. This workshop explores the world of possibilities the digital age has brought to photography and the ways photographers have embraced this new way of storytelling into their own work.
“One of the privileges of a life as a journalist or documentary photographer is getting access to places, people and people’s lives you otherwise have no business being in. Once we’re there, it’s our task, our life’s vocation to tell their stories well, do them justice.” – Sim Chi Yin
