The PDN PhotoPlus 2013 conference at the Javits Center in New York City will include a panel discussion seminar, “Photography and the Struggle for a Better World,” with Ed Kashi, Amy Yenkin, Michelle Bogre and Ron Haviv, moderated by Glenn Ruga. The panel will discuss how socially conscious photographers are embracing the challenges of new technologies and a new economy to continue to inform the public about injustice and, in many cases, using this awareness to change the world.
