This tuition-free, short and intense, three-day workshop taught by Ron Haviv will explore the multifaceted approaches to photojournalism and help guide you on your own path.
Ron will lead discussions on developing a personal sensitivity and visual style, and you’ll be encouraged to work using your instinct rather than formula.
The workshop combines portfolio reviews, a daily assignment, editing sessions and lectures on how to survive as a photojournalist today.
Ron will also share his own work and experience as a photojournalist. Discussions will guide your narrative direction and then be developed in the workshop.
Throughout your time together, Ron will help you understand the reality of photojournalism and the importance of developing your own voice. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what a career in photojournalism entails and be well along the way to defining your personal path in this challenging field.
