The Prix Pictet is a global prize about photography and sustainability.The aim of the Prix Pictet is to use the power of photography to raise public awareness worldwide to the social and environmental challenges of the new millennium. The Museum of Photography Thessaloniki presents the photographic commissions of Munem Wasif, Ed Kashi, Chris Jordan, Simon Norfolk, organized as part of the Prix Pictet international award.
One commission, on the theme of “Earth,” was awarded to Ed Kashi and led to a body of work in Madagascar which will be presented for the first time in Greece during this exhibition.
