The Time to See Photography Exhibition will be held at the entrance of the London Bridge City Pier, South Bank, London. This free outdoor exhibition is open to the general public from Saturday, April 14 until Friday, May 4, 2018.

80% of people who are blind do not need to be. Time to See shows people from different countries, communities and cultures, of different ages, genders and beliefs who all have one thing in common: their lives have been blighted by blindness which could, and should, have been avoided.

Five multi-award-winning photographers – Poulomi Basu, Sam Faulkner, Adam Ferguson, Andrew Quilty and VII’s Ashley Gilbertson – visited seven countries around the world to shine a light on the lives of those affected by avoidable blindness and the pioneers in eye health who spend every day doing everything in their power to prevent loss of eyesight.

The projects they recorded are all funded by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and Standard Chartered’s Seeing is Believing Initiative, who both work with a mandate to tackle avoidable blindness across the Commonwealth and around the world. By working with governments and partners in selected countries, they are seeking to bring vision to everyone, everywhere.
