The Photography Festival Warsaw Photo Days was created in 2013 at the initiative of OW ZPAF, at once the festival’s organizer. The first edition took place in October 2013. The Festival is designed as a place of meetings and presentations of various forms of photography, both from a historical perspective and that of contemporary activities. The theme of this year’s, the second edition of the festival, is broadly understood IDENTIFICATION.

Maciek Nabrdalik will have photographs from his series POPeCulture shown as part of the RECOGNITION show at Warsaw Photo Days. The opening reception for RECOGNITION will take place on October 24, 2014 at 7:00 PM and will be on view through the festival closing on November 23, 2014. There will also be an opportunity to meet with the exhibition artists and curators on October 30, 2014 at 6:00 PM.

Maciek’s images from Echoes of Chernobyl will also be featured in a separate exhibition at the festival, MARKED PLACES.
