The Photography Festival Warsaw Photo Days was created in 2013 at the initiative of OW ZPAF, at once the festival’s organizer. The first edition took place in October 2013. The Festival is designed as a place of meetings and presentations of various forms of photography, both from a historical perspective and that of contemporary activities. The theme of this year’s, the second edition of the festival, is broadly understood IDENTIFICATION.
Maciek Nabrdalik will have images from Echoes of Chernobyl shown as part of the MARKED PLACES show at Warsaw Photo Days. The opening reception for MARKED PLACES will take place on October 25, 2014 at 5:00 PM and will be on view through the festival closing on November 23, 2014. There will also be an opportunity to meet with the exhibition artists and curators on October 26, 2014 at 12:00 PM.
Maciek’s POPeCulture series will also be featured in a separate exhibition at the festival, RECOGNITION.
