Presenting two exhibitions in Arles, France, The VII Foundation officially opens the new Alexandra Boulat Campus on February 4, 2023.

The VII Foundation opens the new Alexandra Boulat Campus of VII Academy, designed to be a cultural space for advanced media education, exhibition, and discourse.

With the support of Jennifer Stengaard Gross, Peter Stengaard of Blue Chip Foundation, and The William, Jeff, and Jennifer Gross Foundation, The VII Foundation is proud to present the opening of VII Academy, Arles. Named The Alexandra Boulat Campus in honor of the late photojournalist and co-founder of VII Photo Agency, the facility is housed in a former salt warehouse on the banks of the Rhône River.

The transformed building will be a cultural center for advanced media education and will welcome VII Academy’s international cohort of students throughout the years to come.

The Alexandra Boulat Campus opens with two exhibitions: “Modest by Alexandra Boulat and “All Tomorrow’s Phantoms, Channelling the Camargue by Philip Blenkinsop on  Saturday, 4 Feb from 14:00 until 17:30.

Workshop for young people – Create your own reversal film

Using archival images from VII Agency, come and create your own photo film! Experiment with different techniques and leave with your own unique work.

Open to children from 3 to 12 years old. For younger children, adult assistance is recommended

Time slots available: 2:30 to 3:00 pm & 3:00 to 3:30 pm & 3:30 to 4:00 pm.
