Mattia Marzorati was born in Cantù, Italy, in 1992. After several experiences in the international cooperation and development field he approached photography while he was working as a social worker in Peru in 2016. He studied photography at La Ampliadora in Granada and photojournalism at EFTI in Madrid. His photographic work mainly focuses on social issues, migrations and the impact of human activities on the environment and he has published on Newsweek, L’Espresso, Internazionale, El País, National Geographic, Vogue, The British Journal of Photography among others.
