Congratulations to Sim Chi Yin, one of the eight journalists awarded with transformational grants by the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) through the Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists. These grants are designed to enable female journalists to pursue important educational opportunities, investigative reporting, and media development initiatives.
Chi Yin is receiving IWMF funding to support her ongoing multimedia project, “For This My Grandfather Died: a Family History of the Malayan Emergency.”
