In this workshop, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery to uncover and cultivate their unique photographic voice. Through a carefully curated series of shooting exercises, in-depth portfolio reviews, and an exploration of various photographic styles, attendees will gain invaluable insights into their creative process. Bouvet will guide participants through the study of projected subjects, providing detailed explanations and expert guidance to help each photographer refine their artistic vision.

The price for this three-day workshop includes access to a closed lecture with James Nachtwey and a private reception on the evening of Sunday, June 30, at the Alexandra Boulat Campus.

Eric Bouvet (b. 1961, France) lives and works on the edge. When he is not carrying 20kgs of 8×10 large format film cameras on his back to the highest Alpine peaks, he is a tireless photographer of conflict, social upheaval, politics, and culture. His photographic oeuvre is one of the most diverse in VII. Eric is a photographer’s photographer lauded by his colleagues for his courage, humanity, and humility for over 42 years in some of the most aggressive and violent territories, from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the war in Ukraine.
