Artificial Intelligence and the Threat to the Real

On July 3, 2024, we hosted a hybrid panel at The VII Foundation in Arles that focused on the risks that synthetic media pose to the reliability of images. The session examined how independent practitioners and media organizations can prioritize authenticated visual content in the field of visual journalism.
