Join us on Friday, July 11, at 1700 CEST, either in-person at The VII Foundation in Arles or online, for a panel discussion on ‘Documenting Environmental Crises: Repression, Resistance, Solutions.’
Social activist and artist Mathieu Asselin and Sébastien Mabile, vice-president of the French committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), will be joined by award-winning filmmaker Jacqueline Farmer and VII Community member and photographer Guerchom Ndebo, to discuss dissent and resistance in response to current climate crises and the increasingly violent repression of climate activists globally. Hosted by Dr. David Campbell, the discussion will consider how visual reporting must do more than chart the problem, adopting solutions-focused approaches to engender real change.
Details on how to attend online will be announced soon.
